About

Since graduating in 2007 I’m lucky enough to have worked for a number of inspiring institutions including; The John Rylands Library, The Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester Museum, Nostell Priory, IKEA, Ashton Library and Archives, lots of museums, various charities, and multiple schools. I am currently Museums Officer for Education and Engagement at Astley Hall, Chorley.

My work with the above institutions has been broad – from banner making, teaching traditional printing, storytelling for children and adults, curating exhibitions, creating education and engagement resources, den building, camera making, costumed historic interpretation and colouring book production! The range is informed by my degree – titled Contemporary Crafts I was encouraged to find the best medium with which to answer a particular brief, an ethos I continue to use. That said I do have a soft spot for print which runs through my work.
