‘The story was INCREDIBLE and Mitch made it come ALIVE’
‘Excellent, creative storyteller’ – Year Six Pupils
‘…The childrens wanted Mitch to come back and tell stories “Everyday”… It was amazing! Thank you so much!’ – Nursey Teacher
I devise storytelling sessions based on your site, your themes and your needs – for that reason each storytelling is unique! Examples of previous events include…
- Celebrate the opening of a new Story Garden by telling stories to an entire school, one class at a time over the course of a school day (St.Brendans Primary School, April 2015)
- Commemorate the First World War in Salford (Ordsall Hall, 2015 and 2016)
- Guide families on a creepy tour with spooky stories as part of a Gothic exhibition (The John Rylands Library, 2015)
- Devise and deliver a workshop on ‘how to tell your own stories’ to an entire Primary School, one class at a time, over the course of two days (February 2015)
- Tell bedtime stories designed to calm around 40 excited children at a sleepover in a library so they’re ready for bed (The John Rylands Library, 2015)
- For a teddy bear themed event I dressed as a bear, built a den in the woods and encouraged families to help me build my den and thanked them for their hard work with stories chosen to entertain and educate participants about the site and it’s important species (for the Woodland Trust at Three Sisters Site, Wigan, March 2019)
I can devise an event which will match your requirements. If you are interested in my storytelling contact me to discuss your needs – mitchell.robinson@yahoo.co.uk
